After the events that have shook the customization community over that last couple of days, weeks and months I would like to apologise for the extremely large list of offences I have committed over a very long period of time. These include insulting other members, creating bogus accounts, loving my own work, swearing on the IRC channel, faking nicknames and attempting to steal files from others.
I accept full responsibility for what tore apart the customization community, and realise that many members are not to blame. It was clear that I was at fault during this period of time. I promise never to commit these sort of offences ever again and I hope that the customization community will give me an opportunity to prove this. After thinking through what I have done, I realised the scale of my misconduct and hope never to return to those sorts of things.
Once again, I apologise to anyone who I have insulted in anyway or form. Finally I will be leaving Customize.org and wish you all the best for the future.

Tom, he did say he was going to come back on that post though.
If this is for real then it is rather noble of him. I think it would be better that there be a proper channel for this kind of thing, so similar events in future can be avoided.
Gaia was a wonderful idea that brought everyone together. It is just such a shame that these events occured, that have very apparently pulled people asunder.
I really dont want to see anything more of this, ever.
No clue why but something tells me that a new user whose nick rhymes with space-lame is adz. Maybe because his 3dcc is virtually equal to adz's latest SS.
Raoul said: I thought we'd moved on amp :P You know you luff Adz, so hug and make up, and then I can change that horrible name of my last sub :D
I say: Yeah, I moved on. But the grudge is still there. Always will be there. You can call me a faggot (as I am a lesbian) you can call me a spic (as I am one.) but I hate it when people call my friends them and then immediately apologize.
That does not fly right in my book.
As far as "luffing" him. No clue what "luffing" is, so, nope.
You can't possibly expect the people of this community to accept your apology after the amount of frustration and anger you've put them through. No to mention that they did already give you a second chance and you totally blew it. That's like punching someone in the face then saying "whoops, my bad LOL." It means nothing, and you're still an epic douchebag. GTFO K THX BYE
I think the only ones that are douches here are those that would bend over backwards to shower praise, glowering comments, loves, likes etc etc on people who are part of their 'clique', even when not deserving, while ignoring or treating with contempt a person who's been trying really hard to just fit in with the 'gang' and be part of it. Reminds you of high school eh? And to me, it's kind of ironic, especially when I hear all that talk of a family, and a community. And im quoting someone with infinitely more wisdom on that, someone who all of you respect on this site.
Well, I've taken an unusually hard stance on this crap, unusual for me cos I prefer living and letting live, so Imma wash my hands of this matter. There's only so much I can do without thumping sense into people heads.
Adz, you should give up trying to be part of this clique man, it's not worth it, is all I can say. Good luck.
I really wanted to stay out of all this, but I just couldn't help myself.
Methinks you're being a bit melodramatic. Tearing apart the community? Not quite. That said ... this might be a case of too little, too late.
Here's what it all boils down to: if you're being sincere (namely, not just talking out of your arse because you think it's what we all want to hear from you), then I applaud you for stepping up. And, frankly, I have no problem allowing you to continue submitting here, but with one caveat: stop doing everything that has been frustrating people here for so long.
Customizing, regardless of what it may seem, is not a popularity contest. I'm sure it feels good when people enjoy what you make -- I wouldn't know, but it does seem logical. But that's hardly an impetus to go around creating numerous accounts to vote yourself up in a vain, juvenile attempt to bring an increased awareness to your submissions. The easiest way for that to come about is to improve the quality of what you do, and you're on the right track. Contrary to what the more reactionary people around here may say, your submissions are not terrible. They're not even bad. They're a little uninspired, perhaps, and your transgressions do not help matters any, but you're certainly making strides.
With a little more dedication, and most definitely a little maturation, I don't see any reason why you should be banned, self-imposed or otherwise. I wish you the best of luck.
Well, after reading this I realized it's a day old. And hope it's done now. That being said, Antimatter our little English major said it better than I could. So I second him.
I wish they had a " love it " button for antimatter's comment.
that's a novel idea. admins, maybe something like this could be implemented in the future, for example, an option to 'bookmark' or save a thread you found useful or started/participated in?
i frequent the bungie.net forums, and they have a similar system in place. makes for very easy finding of old posts.
