litestep is a free shell replacement, it has the most modules available of all the various shells, and probably the most themes. custo has 212 or so. it's the one i use on all my windows boxen
i am guessing you bought it for the customization or the changing of windondows, but i have to agree with miriku, litestep in my opinion is better. There is alot more things you can do with it, and the customization is almost endless. Second off you didn't have to buy it :) www.astalavista.box.sk
litestep isnt for n00bs, it messes with your registry and doesnt have a quick fix return to your normal windows shell... so in other words its not a skin for windows its and intirly new shell. think of it this way... windowblinds/desktopx etc. skins are to windows as winamp skins are to winamp... litestep is to windows as winamp is to sonique. theyll do the same thing but theyre not the same app. sorry if thats a bit confusing, im not even sure what i said.
Desktop X, as a shell enhancer, is a far safer option than Litestep, which is a shell replacer. Why mess with the perfectly good Windows shell? And if you are looking for a shell replacement, IMHO Talsiman is a far better option than Litestep...
download litestep from http://lsots.ls2k.org .. that is the format getting popular, you can also download another format at lsdistro.com , litestep is the better choice, but i would suggest you read first. i had to help like 50 ppl cuz of the techtv thing, and non of them wanted to read. so PLEASE read.... lsdocs.shellfront.org or basically anysite has litestep info. goto litestep.net for some nice themes, litestep.com has some themes too... if you need any help just e-mail me your aim and i will AIM you and help your out.
