does anyone know if it is possible to get transparency/translucency in the windows 2000 command prompt (cmd.exe), or even if there is a fround-end for it that suports transparency?

Dimension Terminal - A Transparent Terminal Window
DTerm is a terminal window application. It uses the command line shell that is defined within your system using the COMSPEC environment variable. DTerm allows opening of multiple terminals or switching between them from a single terminal window. Its fairly quick in repainting, etc. Not much room for error.
but wait theres more! i have seen a few coded transparent programs that work in win me or win 98 and i do know one of them was a command prompt (others are such as mirc,a notepad,a cd player) if i could find links and stuff i would gladly help but since my recent clean install and crap i don't have any old bookmarks

thanks, but I've tried econsole. Actually I'm looking for a transparant command prompt without a border and window title (don't know if dterm does this either though).
this is my .sig / there are many like it / but this one is mine
