yesterday i thought some time about this website and the time i shared with it´s users. I found people to work with and got a lot of inspiration from them and others. Of course there are other sources of inspiration. But i can´t deny Customize is one of the first and big ones.
What i currently see is that a lot of different groups start new websites, new blogs, new forums. And there are so many good starts and ideas behind those scenes.
For example the Mire suite. It has a lot of potential and was open to everybody. Different groups and people worked on it. And a big package of skins, icons and wallpapers came out.
And i know that we all collect experience and grow up. Why not make something out of it? Why not get together and build something on a great base that is already there? Why not use it instead of building up that base as a new everytime?
Invite skinners and artists you like to this place. I´m really happy to see some Winamp5 skinners recently. There are such great programs which have a great potential. Together with the knowledge around here we could work on them and improve them. Like the foo_looks gui. Why not ask if we can get together with the original creator and update it to be compatible with the new foobar? Why not get together and use the great knowledge of litestep we have around here?
This is just my thought. Doesn´t mean it´s a fact. It´s just my point of view and i would like to know what you think about it.
@nitzua : that screenshot is WIP... i dont think im not even in this project cuz i dont have that much skills yet in customizing... the only reason for that i uploaded that was to find out if im allowed to submit a FINISHED version of the screenshot...
and i really dont understand what your saying about tazio....???...
still about the SS... its not finished bcz,, im at my summer place and dont how my computer with me... im able to get to the internet one a week.. :D so the work is not progressing so well :D....
I have no idea. I just sent it, so it should go through. Unless there is some mechanism that only allows certain people to invite other people, then there is nothing that I can do. But I did send it so it should be coming . . .
