Hamburguer with cheese, tomato, fried onion and... what's the english for "panceta"... tocino? Well, fried tocino. I remember 2 excellent hamburguers: one in a restaurant called Carlitos in Buenos Aires, and another in Quila Quina, Neuquén (both in Argentina).
veroka's sounds good, so does radar's armpit sandwiches u people should try out some pakistani burgers. its not seasoned wit salt and pepper, only wit dry spices, onions, cilantro, peppers, all that good stuff. if u r used to american food, this will prolly be spicy. weird eh? also, one of my friends dared me to have a cup of wasabi, they said it was the spiciest thing they ever had, i didnt think so. weird?
I'm from Louisiana. Everything we eat here is spicy. I would definitely be down with a Pakistani hamburger.
Wasabi can be pretty spicy, I'll give them that. Tabasco is hotter than that though. It's 2.5k to 5k scoville units. The closest I could find of wasabi is here, where it's mixed with jalapenos at less than 2k.
I wonder how that wasabi spicyness happens...I know that shilli spicyness is actually not a taste but a pain that gets send to your brain with painreceptors at the back of your tongue wonder if there's similar recptors on your nose when eating wasabi or strong mustard
spiciness is caused by capzasin, the capzasin burns but releases endorphins (the bodies natural painkillers) into the bloodstream which is we like spicy foods and people considered some peppers to be an aphrodisiac.
yea ikonoklast, it duz look deadly lol. i guess that is why it said: "16 Million Reserve is not to be consumed or even opened without using extreme caution." also, for the most part, the hot sauces that i taste arent hot, but they are sour, like the packets of hot sauce from chinese take-out
Someone slipped me some hot sauce once that had me crawling on the ground in agony trying not to barf. I'd say "deadly" would be literal in some of those cases.
I keep about four brands of sauce handy and a bottle of tabasco lasts me less than a week..
Wasabi ice cream sounds pretty good for some reason. Gotta try that.
