Just want to clear up a few things. This account is not a ghoast account. I actually used this account and my submissions are my own. It is true that adz_619 used my account since he knew the password (probably hacked) to love his own work.
I did not know of any of this until recently, when I saw his work and then realised there was some connection with me. Adz has told me to post the following as he is banned for 3 days from posting:

I realise that this isn't just some kid site anymore where you can Photoshop without getting caught. I respect customizers such as Aakio, Akka, Pyro, Frankenstein and all the other great customizers for being smart and aware. Reading the posts of others I think I will leave from customize.org for a short while, contemplate and brush up on my skills to create real good shots that are true and real. This will include not posting here and submitting, however I will still visit the site to see new shots that people are making ; this will be done less frequently that usual. I am still unsure about how long I will be gone, but I stress that I would like this account deleted or temporarily banned so that I can come back with a new account and do things from scratch. By the way, I will still be keeping in touch with some of the customizers here via email. Once again sorry for all the trouble and I will strive to make sure It will not happen again. actually i don't think it really matters about who is who and of course the IP's. Probably, the community just ignore further submissions from both accounts.

Just in case you haven't noticed, ripping is a pretty terrible offense anywhere. It's not something you can get away with with just a slap on the wrist. Hell, I'm surprised you didn't get banned.

I personally think we should reinstate having an agreement before people can submit. BUT make it shorter, so people actually read it. Essentially put what c72 said and possibly some other aspects. Like what will happen if you don't follow the agreement.
On the alien topic. Haven't you heard that alien joke? Not all aliens are lizards. ;)

if he's SUCH a 1337 freaking hacker why doesn't he take he mighty brute force list and run through 7 mbs of passwords? i mean, hes oh so "l33t and 1337" like his profile says than he should be able to do this right? yeah, i don't think so.

I think a capital idea to avoid abuse of the "love" system would be to only allow one user name register for each IP. The only reason people have used two was to change their user name. But we ought to have a one time user name change for just that reason.
some people like to have alt accounts though, i know of a few users who submit on different accounts to submit concept ideas that they dont want on their main accounts.
most people have dynamic IP's anyways so that won't really work and yeah...there's alt accounts that actually do the opposite, take popularity away from the main account instead of adding fake popularity
also I still think loving your own work should be disabled

Well, a limit of two accounts then is what I meant to be getting at. And I dunno, limiting one account to one email isn't successful either, but there must be a way to limit it somehow.
so essentially, track all the members ips and take forever to login /refresh a page because you have to run that ip through all the other ips in the db until you find a match?
There's no way to stop one from registering multiple accounts, but I know of a few (very large) sites that limit you to one or more usernames per DNS, IP, subnet or however they do it. And it works quite well... I'm on dialup myself with a dynamic IP and they still keep up with who I am. It's definitely doable.
Guess it would be good to at least direct the bad sport to a page explaining why multiple usernames are disallowed, and maybe notify someone of the user's attempt.
I have multiple accounts, I'm just honest about it and they serve two purposes for me, or used to anyways. I don't use them to bolster each other. If anything it hurts my "love" because it splits it off.
Using two accounts to act like two different people and generally be a twit, that's where the problem is.
You know... we shouldn't even need to think up MORE solutions for abuse of stuff. Why can't it just be common decency to bloody well not do it?! Again I say we should reinstate the agreement.
