Ah today is the day of my first big festival this year, it's called Pinkpop and will go and see The Fratellis, Five o'Clock Heroes, Wolfmother, The Magic Numbers, Scissor Sisters, Maria Mena, Arctic Monkeys, Macy Gray, Linkin Park, The Kooks and Te Smahing Pumpkins ^^
you didn't line IGGY POP there....he is there....and I wanted to go there just for that reason :| go fuckin see him...his live show is always incredible!
...yeah I rather love going to the smaller festivals (up to 10k etc) anyways...probably be a few of those this year....germany has just so many of em
aMadme. That would have been great, but i only had a ticket for the last day. But that day was of the hook, The Kooks and Arctic Monkeys were amazing and i was really surprised by Scissor Sisters, they're a fantastic live act! Good to know summer's coming with more great festivals...
i was planning on going to bonaroo to see probably my 3 top current acts (the white stripes, the black keys & wolfmother), but i bowed out when i heard through the grapevine that they would be boosting security for illegal activities. fuck that.
i'd rather save my money for when the stripes (as well the aforementioned stooges) come to their hometown.
Did i mention Kirsten Dunst was there (pinkpop), that's so cool!
Another great festival on July 24th and it's free too, starring Air Traffic, Maria Mena, Delinquent Habbits (i was such a big fan of these guys in my rollerblading days) en The Frames
Whoa Damzk, ATP looks like a very interesting and alternative festival, with many kinds of acts of my like, Autechre's ATP album is kinda interesting ...I'd like to see it someday, as well as the Sónar :(
...maybe the nearest fest is the Mutek México...however, don't have enough resources and it's hard to go to the capital alone because of aakio's rollerblading band is constantly present :s
