one of my co-workers told me i have a "mommy purse" recently...mind you, my purse is about a quarter the size of her's and i carry less than most people. (pretty much just have most of the above and some band-aids, work badge, and hair ties.)

With whatever I'm carrying I put in it the same little makeup bag. That also holds my money, id, change, screw driver for glasses, glasses cleaning cloth, pen, nail file, etc.

But if I take a larger bag I might take a notebook/journal and a pencil with me. ..Now if I actually had a digicam, cell, mp3 player -- I'd take those too. But alas I do not. ='(
