Two things, Jer: First, what you're talking about has nothing ni common with WindowBlinds (Toy'd is a skinnable window manager -- that doesn't support blur as far as I know)
Secondly, if someone promoted WindowBlinds in the middle of a thread about Toy'd there'd be a minor riot here. Feel free to create your own topic. ;)
FrogBoy, Did you watch the trailer ? It Says it supports blur effect at 0:31s.
And the reason I don't make a news about it is because I don't know english enough to make a decent news. I pm'd some english members to do it, no answer yet.
I saw a man get the beat down Took his money and his wallet left him dead on the ground I saw them gather celebrate the crime Teaching us the laughter another lesson of mankind I raise my hand, I've got another question: "If I start a riot, will I get protection? 'Cause I'm the kid whose got a lot of problems and if I throw a brick maybe the brick will go and solve them."
Oh.... yeah.... I wanna riot Oh.... yeah.... I wanna riot
:]
...on a side note I don't wanna write a news article bout it cause I didnt try it and don't really feel like tryin it atm :)
I never said it was a clone of wb, but an alternative. It won't skins shell styles for example, but it will work under Windows AND gnu linux, and wb has no 3d desktops, right ? So, no, there is noting in common between this project and wb.
I just said it (will) supports blur effects on XP.
