good ol h2o is always a solid choice, but when it's time to party nothing gets the job done like beer - modelo especial and shiner (local texas beer) are my favs. if i have to drink liquor it's usually some sort of vodka or rum, but no tequila (it has always led to us stealing stuff for some reason). and for soda, it's dr. pepper ftw.
I've been a big fan of Caprisun lately. As lame as that makes me. I like Dr Pepper a lot. Yay dr pepper Does anyone drink Naked? Those are some top notch drinks.
When it comes to my everyday beverage of choice, I'm reaching for a Diet Pepsi. Or a Diet Coke, if push comes to shove. However, I've also been known to tear down some orange juice and the occasional beer; Sam Adams Summer Ale, that's the winner at the moment. Once it goes out of season, I tend to bounce around until I find something. I can always make do with Bud Light, or Michelob Ultra, although both kind of taste watery now. Amber Bock is good, as is Shiner Bock (as mentioned by nd0). Oh, and a Jack and Coke every now and then never hurts.
Mmm, they sell that? Or do ya gotta get it outta there yourself?
My favorite everyday drink is coffee, gotta get the caffeiene! o_O :Twitch: Or some orange soda, mountain dew livewire has a pretty good taste to it.
But my all time favorite drink ever created is: Jamaican coffee! It's the bloody best coffee ever, it's sweet nectar straight from the gods. It's blue mountain Jamaican coffee with coconut milk in it, and I may or may not have to kill for it if my fave place closes.
@Pyro_ yep, although they blend crushed ice with it :) kinda like a fresh non-cream smoothie. it's the only beverage that doesn't leave me more thirsty after consumption.
Ice tea, water, milk, caprisun, Fanta, coke and some energy drinks. I rarely drink alcohol, but when i do i drink Smirnoff and vodka. Im not much of a beer person :p
Drink Dr. Pepper HOT. It's amazing, and maybe add a squeeze of lemon or just a piece of a lemon. If you love Dr. Pepper than you will love Dr. Pepper hot.
-classic h2o,coconut water, and tejuino's one of my universal fav (Guadalajara's traditional beverage, it's based on fermented corn, a lot of ice, some lemon juice, salt, and optionally bicarbonate and some chilli, ...really good after a drunkee day, give it a try and you won't regret!) -energy drinks at parties (yeah!, mixed sometimes with alcohol (exclude beer, i enjoy beer just as is)...maybe isn't fine but that's the only way to don't fall asleep =S) -in winter, guava punch just can't be... *beep beep beep* better :P
Dr Pepper ... no longer available where I live in Oz (but just found an import store, but gosh they're expensive)
Root Beer is another of my faves.
Here in Perth, I can't get enough of Bubble Teas, but now you've got so many varieties, with pudding, jelly, or bubbles. Hot or cold or ice snow. Milk no milk.
When I'm in Thailand I drink alot of Lemon Iced Tea.
@Aphaits: They make cherry coke. The can just looks different now.
@Albino: Man that sucks. But dang I LOVE Bubble Teas, with those tapioca pearls, those are awesome. I only get to go to the one in the mall though. I'm sure a separate store would have more varieties.
Pyro... yeh there is one chain here that is quite popular, you can have apple jelly, lychee jelly, rainbow jelly, green tea jelly, choc pudding, honeydew melon pudding, mango pudding ... but sometimes you just gotta love the original tapioca pearls.
There are some other options, but I can't remember them. Once I find some thing I like, I usually stick with it. At least when it comes to stuff I don't have often.
a real Teh Tarik is nice... but the ones i've had here in Australia were all very average compared to the ones I had when living in Penang... gosh I miss being able to go have a drink at 10:30 at night no problems
I'd have to go with 100% Colombian blend coffee, Monster energy drinks, blackberry tea, green tea, sweet tea, Dr. Pepper and of course, the occasional glass of water.
The strawberry banana juice I drank was about the consistency of orange juice. But Veroka's drink is a smoothie. I dunno I suck at making smoothies, they usually come out watery.
