Currently still a little bit under construction, although i don't have much more inspiration at the moment. I would love to make it more 80s Punk style with some skulls or something, but i don't seem to find anything useful on the internet..
Relative = not fixed right? But i don't like my tables being relative then, imagine ppl posting partyflyers and my layout f00ks up, i don't like that ;)
And my code is also a really big mess, i think every MySpace code ends up like this eventually. Mine is so screwed i can barely do some new stuff (like hiding my top friends).
I might darker the blue a bit though, maybe you are right. Finding robots to lighten up the images and make it more masculin is also something in the things-to-do-list but only when Google does the trick (read: can't really find nice robot img).
I had no trouble reading the blue, and, in fact, I like the color scheme you're working with ... but you might want to re-do the background. It tiles vertically about 30px from the bottom on a 1280x1024 screen.
I agree with anitmatter on the bg. I think I have this as a tile if you don't. It needs to be a height of 1200 if not more to accomodate high res screens.
In relation to colour everyone will find the colour appears different (unless everyone calibrates their monitor). They are just readable on my screen but did not appear so well on my friend's laptops.
I'm really growing to your design now however and look forward to seeing it completed.
Yeh i suppose i'll keep the color patern, but i'm very much interested in the tile.
Thx for kind words Frankenstein, i know i need to play with it a little bit more. Maybe i should rewrite the whole code, because now it's just waaaaay too messy. I was about to make some div layout, but they i have no inspiration for that.
What i did found where some recent clothing pictures of some London kids, seems they used to play a lot with the oldskool retro patern stuff (like my BG) together with some brighter colours so there i got the idea from. Now i just need some masculin paint spots and robots, let's see how i can finish it ;)
Any ideas on where i can find little robotic kinda images that could fit with it? The paint spot is kind hard as i would need to make it myself and i'm not that good with Photoshop..
Inspiring work! Custo has always be like eye candy for me, from desktops to wallpapers to spiffed-up myspace profiles. I am really enjoying your new layout -_- (nice name haha).
