oneiro.collective NEWS

With extremely positive results on our freshman suite (almost 1500 downloads of the vs alone!), and more additions to the package still to come, I, nitzua, the creator of the oneiro.collective, would like to say thanks to the community and to all who contributed to the suite.

cyantific (or josh) has decided to leave the group. he did some spectacular work for us while he was on board, including providing the original concept for 'Lucid'. he's decided that he works better on his own, a sentiment i tend to share with him. however, the reason i started oneiro in the first place was to get some of the more talented and up-and-coming customizers together, with hopes of producing great work like other groups, including vision league, nuance, and 4impressions. I think the result was great, but I've come to understand that, obviously, a small group simply cannot do as much work as a larger one.

thus, I'd like to extend an invite to qualified individuals who would like to jump on board with the crew and put out another suite. the oneiro.collective will remain, but it's structure will be changing. those of you who are active on the GSM forums already know what I'm talking about. anyone who wants to join temporarily to help with a project, join and stay a member, or simply help the cause without joining is now welcome. all i ask is that you give input, be friendly, and lend your creative mastery to whatever project is at hand.

basically, it will be similar to the GSM environment, just not based around forums. what i'm after is productivity, innovation, and more skins for the masses. why wait forever for one of the elite customizers to release something?

GSM is already planning a new suite, and I think the more groups who embark on similar projects, the better.

In other news, the color pack is really shaping up. With the lack of suggestions I've got at the moment, it seems as if the color choices will be mostly up to me. If you'd like to see a scheme post here. I hope the LS and wallpaper packs will be out before too long, but they may be beaten by the color pack. At the moment, I'm not planning to release a color pack for the winamp & samurize, just the visual style. any objections to that will be heard here as well.
