Adblock Plus - Blocks ads really effectively. Colorful Tabs - 'Cause they're fun. Firebug - Really handy for web development. FireFTP - An FTP client built right into Firefox. Gmail Notifier - It's nice to have. Stop-or-Reload Button - Saves some space in the toolbar by displaying the stop button in place of the reload button only when a page is loading.
Adblock - The latest dev build blocks elements before they load. CustomizeGoogle User Agent Switcher - For sneaking into registration-required forums by posing as a google bot. Tiny Menu ViewSourceWith Tab Mix Plus Paste and Go 2 Imglikeopera
Adblock Plus - an absolute MUST! All-in-one Gestures - mouse gestures rock! McAfee SiteAdvisor - very useful, especially if u download a lot Linkification - I find it useful Wizz RSS New Reader - I uninstalled after getting Feedreader, but it was great while I had it
Some websites just don't open in FF, so with IE Tab you basically have a tab open (you can open a link in IE tab or just hit some button below to switch to IE engine) where you can use the IE engine to watch that particular website. I found it very handy as i sometime stumble upon incompatible FF websites.
Download Statusbar is an absolute must! Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer (because I regularly use 3 computers) Adblock Filterset G & Adblock Plus Add Bookmark Here (very convenient if you do a lot of bookmarking) Image Zoom NoScript Sage RSS aggregator Tab Mix Plus
adz_619, one web site that comes to mind where IE Tab is useful is Windows Update.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm surprised more people didn't mention ColorZilla.
I hope you guys who are using Adblock aren't blocking ads on sites that you appreciate, like Custo. As I'm sure you all know, web sites cost money to run and for many sites, ads are the only revenue source.
I use nabber for colours. Is on tinyapps.org. Way good!
I use gestures compulsively (and with StrokeIt... throughout my system). Compact menu - Menu Downloads status bar - nice n easy. minimal if required Fast video download - works Tab Catalog - thumbnail for tabs (like a menu). not used unless using loads n loads of tabs
generic browsing: Adblock Plus - I was online before there were ads, so I'd like to imagine that time still exists. Download Status Bar - Or in my case, "download icon in the status bar" Linkification - So I don't have to copy/paste addresses from boards/sites that don't link 'em Ook - Bookmarks in your context menu Tiny Menu - More minimalism. But ideally the menu bar should be part of the context menu, just like how Ook treats the bookmark menu.
webdevving: Firebug - Has turned out to be essential for debugging complex stylesheets. Also rendered obsolete quite a lot of other tools. Use it all the time. Live HTTP Headers - For tracking browser/server communication View Cookies - Lists the sites' cookies in the property window View Dependencies - Very useful. Show exactly what files were loaded
I use more extensions, but these are probably the ones I always install.
Dog Ears - good if youre reading a really long article (on one page) and want to mark sections of it so you can go back.
FEBE (Firefox Extension Backup Extension) - Backups your entire profile, bookmarks, themes, extensions, history, cache & more so you can transfer them to a different computer or just use it as a backup utility.
Launchy - great extension. creates a right click context menu that opens links/pics/videos in apps installed on your pc. e.g. right click an image - choose open with - photoshop. also replaces the functions of 'i.e. tab' since it lists i.e. as an 'open with' option.
Organize Status Bar - get rid of extension icons you dont need that place themselves on the status bar.
UI Tweaker (Formerly Toolbar Cleanup) - A must for any customizer. has the many options including the 'combine stop and reload button' so you dont need to get the standalone extension.
Adblock Plus and noscript of course. Growl Notification. so I can tell when my downloads are done. Stumbleupon. Add Bookmark Here. (though I have too many bookmarks now) Various "imageboard" extensions.
Adblock Plus Cooliris Previews Download Statusbar DownThemAll FireFTP FoxyTunes!! Greasemonkey (just started, seems pretty cool) IE Tab PDF Download And lastly... President Bush Countdown :)

I rather like having Forcastfox, AdBlock of course, and Status Bar is a must for anyone. Although it would be nice if it knew how to clear torrents automatically!
