Bud Light, i'm no classy drinker, I like to drink to get drunk, I'm not a fan of sitting around by the fire swirling glasses of wine and drinking with my pinky out. Just not me really.
I'm a fan of Amber Bock, as mentioned before. It's roughly the same price as Bud Light and the like (oh, maybe 50 cents more a six-pack), but tastes exponentially better. Also, you can't go wrong with Sam Adams.
I don't recognize any of the stuff egolatra posted... But we have a pub here that serves over 2000 kinds of beer so maybe I'll look for 'em next time...
Usually I drink: San Miguel, Staropramen, Budvar, Zlatopramen, Corona, Singha, Sapporo, Kirin, Red Stripe, Brahma, etc.
I also like Hoegaarden witbier. A nice stout or ale isn't that bad either.
Guinness for strength, but when out relaxing w/ friends a tall pint of Canadian, Rickards Red, Alexander Keits or Hoegaarden. Gotta love those massive hoegaarden pint glasses.
Guinness is my usual beer, but I enjoy a cold Schlafly from time to time, their scotch ale is great. In ten years -- God-willing -- Schlafly will remind everyone why St. Louis is the best brewing town in the country.
one of my new favs is victory golden monkey, which is apparently 9.5% abv, shaming the rest of the american beers here that are ~5% or so. cristal cerveza (peru) is pretty good, too.
i'd like to be able to afford to drink this beer all the time.
it's a seasonal brew, made right in the town where i go to college. college kids here eat it up. it came out for the season monday, and by 9:30 pm my local liquor stop was totally out.
I don't think this counts, but I prefer Strongbow over anything . But if I have to drink beer, I'd prefer to have Sleeman's Honey Brown. Also, I can't drink most American beers, too watered down.
Favorite mass produced imports: Guinness or Negra Modelo Dark.
Favorite overall: Was a beer I had in a specialty bar in PA. Was called the Drunk Monk and was made by a Brewery in Indiana called Three Floyds. Had a crazy ass label, but was by far the best beer I ever had.
More of a bitter man myself. Black Sheep Best Bitter for me! As for lagers suppose its gotta be Stella Artois And for stouts, cant beat a smooth Murphy's
