for the inactive caption font: in the tree go to current colour scheme > Values > General > Window > Caption > Inactive, add the TextColor property there
for the window font: go to the folder where you saved the vs you're working on and open the current colour scheme's .xml file with Notepad, add the following line under , now you can change the colour under Classic Colours in Stylebuider (or fill in the right colour right away)
for the menu font: you can change this under Classic colours too, MenuText is the value you're after, if it isn't there repeat the same steps as for the window font only changing WindowText to MenuText
I don't mean to come off as a troll or anything, but I find it odd that you couldn't find the solution to your problem in the six days it's been since you posted your last request for help.
Stylebuilder may be clunky, but its dialogs aren't impossible to navigate. Were I not on a Mac, I'd fire it up and help you out.
Until someone else posts a solution or you find the properties you need to edit, try checking out http://www.gfxoasis.com/board/index.php?showtopic=7904 for a short list of tutorials (you'll have to scroll down a bit to find them).
They might be able to point you in the right direction.
Ok, if I understood your problem, the solution would be:
for taskbar text colors go to Values-Taskband-Toolbar. There'll have all the states and you just set the color; of course you should do the same at TaskbandVert.
For the button text color go to Values-General-Button-PushButton. All states will be here too.
advent: I've seriously looked trough ALL the values in stylebuilder, and i still couldn't find it. :/
Damzk: Thanks for trying, but what i was looking for the background color of the selected window on the taskbar. :/ Couldn't change the text color of the button either, but that could be because of my firefox skin, right?
Hm, that's usually an image file with 6 states, if I'm not mistaken the 1st is default, 2nd mouse-over, 3rd pressed and the one you want to change is the 6th. Can't try cause I don't use taskbar, but again, if I understood, it's it. It's in Values-TaskBand-Toolbar-Button. If you happen to don't get it work, open up Luna and mess with it.
As for the button text colors, check if your value is correct at Values-General-SysMetrics-Btn text and in XP Colors-Button Text Color. Also, you can try apply 3DCC. Be aware that some programs simply don't like to have no black color for text.
