I was just curious if anyone out that had any favorite screenshots? It could me yours or someone elses. I'm always browsing through them (ya, I need to comment in a mannor reflective of that (blaster lurker habbits)). Some really cool ones get featured, some don't. Some really simple ones just pull things together nicely, some elaborate ones just break ground in ways you never thought of before. All kinds of coolness out there. I hadn't given it much thought before, so I don't know what mine is/are. Still, I thought it would make for an interesting thread.
i'll have been active on this site for a year on dec 1st, so i can't go back quite as far as some, but i've definetly browsed...i was always blown away by sinome, imrik, heylove, and wint...i'd credit them and a few others with my original inspirations...lately, i get excited for new shots by cyantific, circa, akka, pep/aakio, and maximhuz, among others...to pick a specific shot would be too hard, but anyone who can make an attractive and complete mod/ss is an inspiration to me...
not a fan of minimalism at all...but i see the work put into some outstanding screens, and the amount of work put into some of them.

P.S. i remember someone here saying (rather arrogantly) that he has never seen any good non-minimalistic shots, well my personal favorite artist is called Diafragma on another site, and here are some of his works (i know non-minimalism isnt liked here, but have an open mind =D )
Ok, most of the stars were already mentioned so I'll just make 2 things.
1. Highlight aero (Tilt, International), gear (toki-doki, tribute), mojomonkee. Without these (not including senex cause his works are not here anymore, shamefully) LS and SS would not be what we're used to. Pretty much all themes I like are covered by these.
2 Give some light to some, in my opinion, under recognized, hopefully this can enlight newcomers.

threi, its not that non-minimalism is shunned on this site, its that just about every shot which could be called 'non-minimalistic' is lacking in one, or in many cases, alot of areas...check out rissol's profile, hes submitted probably over 2 dozen non minimal shots, and most of them were featured...the shots you linked to are great shots, but they were not submitted here...we recognize quality and effort, no matter what form it appears in...also, one cant confuse an eye for pure style with minimalism (imrik, sinome), or a gross ignorance of it with non-minimalism
gruneeitelkeit - I guess you are right about that screenshot of mine. Its so old and I was running in classic mode that I just assumed it was from my win98 days. I just read in my designer notes that it was my first after upgrading to xp.
