Just installed SP2

After installing SP2, I restarted my computer to see that my theme had been reverted to Windows Classic. I thought the update might have done something to the UXTheme patch I installed, so I downloaded the Neowin UXTheme Multi-Patcher 4.0, restored the older uxtheme.dll, and installed it again. Now if I try to apply any theme other than Windows Classic, I get an error saying "Run DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close".

What the hell is going on? :'<

I've done a system restore back to SP1. There's no way I'm going to reformat my HDD. It's a clean install of XP, and I've got 40 GB of games and programs installed.

I can try restoring the UXTheme patch and THEN installing SP2, but I don't know if it's worth the risk, or whether it'd work at all.

You should slipstream your original Windows XP cd to SP2, it's very easy, search the original cd or google to find out how. Then you will always have SP2 as soon as you reformat :)
