I'd be more worried about cpu than ram usage regarding mp3's.

Winamp3 seems to be a little buggy (still beta), sometimes it's quiting etc. I would go with Winamp (2.x), because I simply like it better than coolplayer.

hahah how pos is it... lol .. i was at his house for lunch today.. i looked at it. .. he overclocked it .. it has no case and an believe it or not .. an erector set with 3 little fans hung from the top of it w/ twistie ties.. the wires are rigged into this spaghetti mess of black and red wires with a little bit of tape for prego... this is the saddest most pathetic thing i've ever seen. sorry duck =P

my current box had a shitload of wires like that inside, cause i needed to hotwire two big fans running at 220V, and theres only 12V in the box. Ive also built a bunch of different sick comps from random old componenets. One built in a cardboard box, another in a plastic container, and one in a wooden box too :)

Not sure about the size of CoolPlayer, but I remember it used minimal resources. Lots of good skins available for it also. Check it out. It adds nothing to the registry and uninstall just means deleting wherever it is you placed it in your directory. Sounds great!
