Sometimes I get so disollusioned with world politics. I guess its easy to living in paradise :D
Seriously though, wtf isnt N Korea allowed nukes? Because the other more bad ass countries that allready have nukes dont want any more dudes in their group?
Or is it because Kim is "bad"? I mean... look at Bush. He has killed, tortured and started wars too, and the US has more nukes than anyone.
Must be the "We dont want you in our tree hut" thing.
We should start rocket-lifting building supplies to Mars now... I'll even volunteer to be the first human there just to make sure everything arrives properly... and... stuff... Really, I don't mind!
No... No flying cars!!! They way I see some assholes can't drive normal cars. I wouldn't want them flying over me. We are getting close to the pill thing though, and the bald thing. Save me a sammich someone.
Apparently the first flying car is supposed to go on the market for sale sometimes next year. It starts off at around the $600,000 mark and it is powered by 100% alcohol. It's supposed to be 4-5 times faster than a regular vehicle. And apparently they're working on developing air traffic right now.

This should not be the way to think about things. I understand one can get overzealous with the US becoming a tyrannical power. But "shouldn't everyone have the right to nukes if the US can?" is not the correctly poised question. The best scenario is that no political actor has access to nukes. The second best is not that we should have all have nukes - it is to keep nukes at least in the hands of "safe" powers. Take that as you may, there is no rebuttal against the fact that Bush is, at the end of the day, still somewhat restricted by judicial and power balance processes while Kim Jong Il is NOT. There is more risk of a totalitarian country using WMDs than a democracy.
So before you go and blame the US again for being hypocritical, know your lesser evil: greater chance of nuclear war or fairness in owning nuclear weapons.
FYI, I'm not some conservative asshole - I usually have a liberal stance toward things but some mindless liberal notions just really bug me.
"There is more risk of a totalitarian country using WMDs than a democracy."
I thought the US was the only country to ever use nukes, against someone.
Did Americans vote on that?
And I dont really think its a democracy anymore. Kind of a psuedo-democratic-elitist system.
But meh, when another country/person/org uses nukes against people, then they and the US will be "even".
Or is your point that the US did it once, so they are the most knowledgeable about nuke bombs, and therefore most suited to have heaps, and not let any one else have them? (Even though noone else has actually used them)
See my point?
Nobody is fit to police nukes, so either noone has them, or everyone does, and seeing as "mostly" everyone does anyway, just let the rest have them.
OK ok ok, I see what you mean, the current setup is the lesser of the evils, but still, it seems unhonest and extremely suspect if you ask me.
