Will and Tom--we down the street were so sorry to hear about Nick. I almost dropped to the floor when I heard his name on the news. He coached Joey's soccer team last spring and was just so awesome. I have a really good pic I'll forward to you. I feel like a very bright star in Wilton has just gone out and can't even begin to imagine the pain his family and yours must be experiencing right now. The only comfort is knowing that you all have a special guardian angel looking over you all now...Nick Madaras!
I am truly sorry for your loss. I worked w/ Nick part time, a couple of years ago. I am very saddened to hear he is no longer w/ us. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. He will be missed. Erik W

I am also Nick's cousin from Australia. Im sorry for your loss William, for even though we live in Australia, your name has been mentioned by the family many times in appretiation for what you have done- you must have been very close Nick. So thankyou. I just wanted to add that the webpage is so please revisit the life of Nick there.
My cousin is serving in Iraq right now. He willingly joined the marines as there was this major conflict in Iraq.. He's been serving for about two years now.. I couldn't imagine how horrible the loss would be if he never made it back. I'm deeply sorry and hope for the best for you and his family and his friends.
But what about remembering the iraque people (kids, women, men), that were probably killed by Nick and his platoon? I'd like to receive some photography, vector or anything for them.
Thanks for your help.
BTW: I like the pic on the memorial page for Nick. The one with the US-flag. It reminds me that losing your life is the greatest thing you can do for your country.
This was someone he knew. It really sucks to be killed by a coward. I hope, if he can, his spirit helps someone think, see and aim the bullet into the heart of the pussy that set the bomb. Then, if they are in the same place, if thieg gods will allow, I hope their souls meet. To settle the score. RIP Nick. I salute you.
