return shot like...both players on one team made their shots and they get to rethrow? in that case, id say a rerack is totally allowable.
my favorite rule my friends and i use:
'only bitches blow' - when a players shot spins around the cup before settling in the beer, it is legal for female players to bow down into the cup, which, if done correctly, can make the ball shoot out...most girls are (at parties i go to ne way) usually super drunk or horrible at beer pong, so if you find yourself with a wasted female teammate, then this rule can even the playing field...
other than that, pretty much straight-up pongin...
It's funny, once you get a little older these games seem really really redonkulous. I am stunned you have a table dedicated to it.
Binge drinking really loses it's appeal after a couple years. You start thinking a couple good bottles of nice imported beer paired up with a nice dinner is a much better time than drinking a case of swill with people you hardly know and waking up in pools of mystery fluid with your pants half off. Although pants half off makes for a better "kick ass!" story to to your friends the next day and that's what it's all about when you're that age.
That said we often played "Hi Bob" when I was in school, as bars would have nights dedicated to it. Also ice cube tray races, one of those games where eventually you start trying to lose.
It's telling that I remember very little from this period in my life. I recollect it as a giant neverending headache and sour stomach with a fair sprinkling of medicore grades.
we never re-rack after both players make their shot. different people have different rules regarding when re-racks can take place (either at 6-4-3-2, or twice in the game whenever you want it), but never midturn.
i understand man .. i may not be old but i no longer drink.. it got old after 2 years or so.. this pic was from about 8 months ago .. i no longer find drinking appealing.. as for having a beer every once in a while .. who knows i might pick that up again ..
for now im done drinking (fun while it lasted though)
as for having a table dedicated to beer pong.. me and my friends played every night .. so making a table for it didnt seem so extreme at the time.
