i see tons of rainmeter skins for use with winamp to control and/or to show the current song playing...example....MKG, the featured for the day....i LOVE MKG but i wish it was for use with itunes....i dont use winamp....i just wish....
LOL. Ok guys, from what I know so far, there're no iTune plugins for Rainmeter. I actually get a lot of this request, and sadly we can't do much about it now. But I think there will be someday.
Before the Winamp plugin (which allow us to display song titles etc), there were those external stand alone EXE files which control the main founctions of Winamp (play, pause, stop etc).
I googled for iTune, nothing. So if anyone can find some similar external stand alone control exes for iTune, we can make the Rainmeter work.
I would like to see a rainmeter control for itunes aswell.
Nylon, I use iTunesControl (http://itunescontrol.com/) to make the play/stop etc buttons on my laptop work with itunes, that's the only external programme i have seen which sends those commands to itunes. Is there a way that you could make it interact with Itunescontrol perhaps by emulating a keystroke for a hotkey or make it interact with itunes in the same way that itunescontrol does? I know nothing of coding etc, just thought that i would let you know about that site incase it allowed you to develop itunes integration for rainmeter.
