Yeah, uhm. I downloaded Trillian because it seemed like a convenient program. But I hate the default skin, and I've got a new skin that I downloaded from here, but I can't get it to work. There must be some unusual method to get it working, can someone tell me what to do?

Phew! Off the top my head I dunno. There's just been a new release of Trillian.....was it a skin for the new version? If not do the older skins with work with the new version??
Like I said I dunno exactly, but that's what I'd have thought. Without knowing what skin you downloaded and what version of Trillian you're running.
One more thing...you do know that you have to put the unzipped skin folder into the 'skins' folder in the Trillian folder? right?
Yeah, I did all of that. I'm pretty sure I've got the newest version of Trillian available. And I downloaded the skin off of this site. I used that Zaxxon skin. When I try to change the skins in Trillian, nothing shows up except the base skin.
Old Trillian skins arent compatible with the new version, you have to have 0.70 skins for the new Trillian and all the other skins are for version 0.63 or lower.
Either get the new skins from the Trillian homepage (www.trillian.cc) or DeviantART (www.deviantart.com) both of them have every skin released for the newest version. There are only about 11 or so out right now.
