I finally caved in and installed a nice fresh Windows XP SP2, wiping loads of rubbish that has been accumulating on here since that day about 3 years ago where I came on gleefully announcing that I'd disabled all that "Recovery" stuff and didn't care if it all went horribly wrong.
So there I was, quite content I had disabled most of the mollycoddling stuff they've put in here when someone sent me an MP3 over MSN. Windows apparently decided it was unsafe and that deleting it with nothing but an "Ok" button was a nice thing to do.
Well ok Bill, I put up with the firewall... I put up with the little doggy and patronising "are you searching for a picture?", the horrible gaudy fat blues and greens, being told off for deciding I will choose when I update, blah blah blah. But deleting my files, with nothing but an "Ok"?! Now I feel violated! Give me back my control of MY computer!

So... anyone know how to disable it? I can't seem to find it, I thought I'd got it but it just did it again.
Oh and Hi! Sorry I've not been on for a long time!
