You're* funny. Grammar is always a plus. But yes, Stylebuilder (http://www.tgtsoft.com) has a nifty little fonts tab that lets you change ~95% of the fonts in the VS in one fell swoop.
well, i'm not sure about jono, but you guys definately helped me out. Now i don't have to reset my fonts with advanced everytime i do something with my vs.
Alas however, I still haven't figured out how to change the fonts in or on the startbar. Any suggestions for doing that via stylebuilder?
on the far left side, scroll down, click fonts, and look for it in that small menu there. If you want to get rid of the word 'start', set the content margins to 150, -140,0,0.
ahh, thanks for that killswitch. Unfortunately, that was the bit i'd already discovered :-P
I'm using VOID right now, just trying to alter the start menu and buttons on the taskbar's font's to be similar to the rest of the system's. I'm using a version of Swiss721 I really like, but it's all caps, and the start menu's font has lower case and in some places bolded letters. Doesn't fit very well.
I've noticed I can't edit the startbar fonts using the advanced settings in system display either, and i'd really like to know how to fool with those fonts.
ahhh, now I see it. Thanks for the pointer heylove. Okay, so the immediate start menu popup when you click does indeed use the menu font.
Buuuut, what about the font for the all programs and it's sub menus? That appears to be the same as the font for any programs on the taskbar. I can tell it's different because all the fonts i've set have no lowercase.
If i'm poking into something dark and arcane that shan't be trifled with by mere mortals, i'll quit it, but I find it hard to believe there's NOTHING i can do about this or those bold faced buttons on the start menu, I will however buy it if someone tells me it's just way more effort than it's worth.
ahhh blast. Yeah, figured it'd come down to that. I'd be much obliged for that link, but i probably won't fool with it anyway, i'm getting sick of void anyway.
