Hey guys.
After having always used bright window-themes/colorschemes, I now ask a hard question, which always kept me away from using 'real dark' schemes!.. Alright. There's always the same problem when using dark window-colors:
In Windows, everything works fine! Dark colors can be great. BUT - when you start e.g. Photoshop or something, you'll see that you can't work with it because you can't see everything! Example: You have set the colors of dialog-boxes and the whole windows-apperance to a dark blue. In Photoshop, not every windows-color is applied! E.g. all the icons of the TOOLS and the TOOLBAR! They're still BLACK and so, you can't see them well because BLACK on DARK BLUE isn't readable that good. That also applies to all checkboxes in PS, so you can't really work with the program. And NO, I don't like to switch my scheme always when I start PS.
How do you handle this? I thought of res-hacking the program-dll's but I couldn't find the color settings. Maybe there's a small tool or a setting to fix that? I think that the color 'black' is set program-specific but there must be a way to change that.. ?
I hope so..
