HOW TO USE
- Install the fonts.
- Extract the rar contents to: /foobar2000/PanelsUI/
Go to preferences > PanelsUI and select the foobear.pui file in the Layout dropdown box.
- I recommend that you turn on ClearType if you use Windows XP.
- Add and scan your Media Library in Preferences > Media Library.
- If the album title in the playlist is called "Single Tracks" you must tag your album's Total Tracks tag. The easiest way to do this is to select all your songs in the playlist > rightclick > rightclick again on the Total Tracks field and choose "Auto track number".
- To display the album art:
The front cover must be named folder.jpg and be located in the album's folder where the music files are.
Same with artists. Name those images artist.jpg.
- Tag your music!
Rightclick on your songs and choose properties. Fill in the correct artist, title, year, total tracks, album name etc.
See http://musicbrainz.org/ for the correct tags you need for your music.
- To change the background between the bear and a blank one - click on the 1 & 2 buttons next to the search area.
- The 3 top left buttons switches between, playlist, playlist switcher and library filter.

KNOWN ISSUES
- If you use the latest PanelsUI beta 0.14.x the rating buttons won't work correctly. I recommend that you use the latest 0.13.x instead.
- Minor issue with the big play/pause button on the big cover image.
Licensing: the artist has specified that mods are allowed.

This is great work!
I personally like to run my Foobar setups minimal, so no album covers and such. But everyone that likes those should definitely use this over Windows Media Player or other anyday!

I really like your work, but the problem is that i´m a idiot... :D Could you please explain how to install your skin in detail. Ex. where do i find "PanelsUI"? Where do i put all files? What ClearType? How to start up this amazing skin?

Excellent skin mod. However it's still largely incomplete? Stuff like fixing up ease of editing the playlist section and the interface of the library would be great.. Or maybe it's just my computer that's acting up, because some of the stuff doesn't show.
Regardless, please keep working on it. I usually keep my music players minimalistic, but this mod skin changed my mind.

Guys! I'm really impressed of this foobar skin, it's awesome!
I'd installed it, but not everything works properly :(
1. not everyone album cover is shown (but it's in direct folder and called folder.jpg)
2. playlists list doesn't work. i'd tried to use all commands - NEW, LOAD, SAVE etc. and still nought :(

I absolutely love this skin! The one thing I like less is the fact that you have to put all the covers in the album folder and name it folder.jpg because I have too many albums and I'm too lazy to do all that.

Do all of the foobar plugins (or components) listed above work for Vista, specifically 64-bit Vista? I ask because I was reading something on their website about certain plugins causing problems with the Vista operating system and a warning to be sure to download only those that are completely compatible. Can anyone help me out?

A little observation that'll help much people:
The new version of foobar doesn't support the panels_ui, you need to install the old version of foobar and so you can use the regular instructions [link is in the final]
But I got a little problem, I have half terabyte of music and of course 80% haven't album or have variations on the name of the artist [e.g. 2pac, 'pac, pac, makaveli, 2pac shakur, tupac shakur etc. instead of Tupac, and tagging thousands musics is hard, ain't it ? =]
So, I want one skin that shows the musics like in the old style from foolbar, in the old foobar you can choose playlist, album, artist, and FOLDER [I'm unsure but is something like this =/], is the folder view that I want, maybe some code can be added to that part of panelsui/foobear, I would be so grateful...

Customize.org formats the link in a way that the link will not work, so here's instructions to open, copy the part after the '|' [http:/cid...0.9.5.2.exe] then you paste into your browser and erase the spaces that are in back of 'skydrive' and 'foobar', it happens because is the end of line of the comment.
