Litestep desktop buttons help?

Hey there,

I would like to remove the desktop buttons that litestep puts on my desktop, but would like to still be able to change my shell. Is there any way to change the shell (apart from Taskman opening explorer and closing litestep) without using those buttons??

Thanks!

litestep: XP x32 - window themes not working

I'm new to using litestep so bare with me.
Before litestep I'd originally just used windowblinds to style my desktop. I've uninstalled that and installed litestep...the themes load and everything, but the windows don't change based on the themes. I've got the classic windows still displaying. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is there.
Any suggestions?

I am using lsslider1.71 and xpaintclass3.4.5
I want to have lsslider auto-hide through an animation - move offscreen when the mouse isn't around.

Here is what I have, and it doesn't work:

*TrackModuleHook !SliderHook "Volume" 10 10 7 "SliderTrack.png" "SliderHandleT.png" 2HABI [VOLUME] 1

(which follows the syntax provided in the xLabel-3.4.5 documentation and lsslid...

Litestep Win98 Themes.

Hi guys.
Just signed up to ask a bit of advice, really. If I like it here I may stick around a while.

Basically, I've got an old Dell CSx laptop that I rebuilt from 2 scrap machines, It's running Win98/SE and has Litestep 3.0.2 installed. Everything is installed from USB stick because I don't yet have a CD drive for it.
I'd like to install a couple more Litestep themes, but as things have moved on I'm not sure which themes would be compatible with my version.

Any advice would be welco...

So I'm liking Litestep so far, but I have two major problems. The first is that I can no longer switch back to the Windows shell. Every time I try, I get an error that reads "Lua: Error while running check. Access is denied. Code: 5."

Secondly, I've managed to install one theme so far, Trim. For every theme I've tried to install afterwards, the application doesn't even attempt to install the necessary files for each, just marks every file on the list with a red X. Luckily I really like Tri...

Getting good looking 48px icons in taskbar?

I have finished a new theme:

http://customize.org/litestep/themes/63698

Unfortunately most icons look rather crappy because, as I understand, Litestep (xTaskbar-1.4.1.dll) simply takes the 16px or 32px icons and resizes them to be 48px. Even my TangoPatcher folder icons, Photoshop, Google Chrome icon ... all look resized; I think maybe only uTorrent looks OK.

Is there something I can do within Litestep or elsewhere ... or there is nothing to be done?

Looking for LS theme!

Hi, I am looking for a LS Theme, _underscore_ (small fix) by Gogg. I usually have a backup copy on one of my drives, but during some cleanup time, I think I gave that drive away to my brother, who lives 5 hours away and litestep.net is currently down, so I can't get another copy. PLS PLS PLS if someone has a copy, send it to me. I hate using XP desktop and most other LS themes don't suit me. I am on my knees begging right now!
