not bad for a first try, but i just think that the gradients doesn't work fine on cursors.

I really really like this--I love this. The shading looks great, it has a sharp point, and everything is very decipherable.
The only thing I wish is that there was a larger version--then it would be perfect, but that's my taste. I like there to be no mistake about the location of the cursor, which is why I generally like red cursors.
In my opinion, yours is the by far the best I've seen anywhere. It's truly hard to believe that's your first one. :)
