The skull is really good, i like the sketchy ness with the subtle 3d look. But, the flare, while not to photoshop-esque is just not good for me. you should do something a little darker with the skull, without the flare. hope to see something else from you soon!

I'm a sucker for skulls and the macabre... and the whole wp is just amazing, but you get -10 for the flare..it's just to bright..

[-] I made this, and would like to clarify something before any other reviews- this is not at all about death, it is just the image I chose to use, cause as swizz noticed, the details work well with it. It is admittedly not my best work, just something that is intriguing and a functional wp.

Girlietec made a very good observation. there are some elegant things happening in this image, like the top horizontal bar. the fine soft details are really interesting to look at, regardless of the image being of a skull or not. the icons/markings on the right side do a good job of breaking up the space, but they look rushed and appear to be afterthoughts. i think you could push this further :^]

i like it. i wouldn't use it myself, but i'm a letterbox fan, and this is a pretty good result. keep at it.
