I'm not sure if anyone other than you and other people who know this guy would appreciate it as much as you do. But it's not fully usable in this type of community.

Who is this Lee Fields fellow and why would it be beneficial for anyone to actually use this boot skin?

-Niv-: Hey hey now. Please leave the insults someplace else.
Now as for the skin. It is a very well made Bootskin. It is not grainy as all hell like many other ones out there, so graphically it gets a 70. As to who Lee Fields is, I myself have never heard of him but I will try him out (I normally read Horror like Stephen King). So I can't really say much there.

-Niv-:"if it isn’t a bootskin with a popular logo like “nVidia” or some over used slogan like “Unoriginal bastard’s Edition” then it’s not “beneficial”?" - I wouldn't say its not beneficial... Its just not usable

Lee Fields is an up and coming suspense author. His second book “Nobis” is due out February 14th.
As for those of you with the sarcastic comments, I wouldn’t expect you to appreciate this bootskin (or Lee Fields) being as you’d have to be able to read past a 3rd grade level to enjoy a suspense novel in the first place. With that said, this bootskin is for those who either have heard of him and enjoy his work, or have not heard of him and enjoy suspense novels, thus bringing attention to his work. I’ve submitted bootskins to a good dozen different skinning sites and yet this is the only one I receive such sarcastic comments on. Very disappointing indeed.
As for the staff comment, if it isn’t a bootskin with a popular logo like “nVidia” or some over used slogan like “Unoriginal bastard’s Edition” then it’s not “beneficial”?
Nylons: It’s not risky using copyrighted images if you have permission.
kevinlau7 - It's plenty usable to those of us who know who he is. If you don't, all I can say is check him out or move along to the next bootskin.
amp.angel - Thanks for the bit of credit on the quality of the bootskin.. yet i feel the photo, and the conversion to 16 color bmp alone deserves more than a 70.. that's an F- :(... lol. Also Lee Field's first book was a suspense/horror.. ;)
EDIT: Judging by comments like those of greyfox I'd say customize.org's community is a waste of my time. Pure ignorance and stupidity. Skinning sites are a dime a dozen. I'll play somewhere else.
