Alright, some people wanted to know how I changed the font of utorrent. The trick is to change the whole system font, so there's a bit of registry editing required.
I don't know which fonts are suitable, I've tested HaxrCorp 4088 and kroeger, and there are no problems so far. But remember to make a backup of the registry settings.
to your desired font. This time, take the filename (!) instead.
After restarting you should see your custom font everywhere (even in some websites).
The font names and such may differ because I have a german version of xp. Hope that works :)
PS: If you need to change the system font more often, you can speed things up by just writing .reg files that contain the code of various fonts. So then you got a .reg file for kroeger, one for calibri etc...
Hey all. You have to be careful what you change it to because I did this a while back and had some issues with size. Like aakio said, you can't change the size so if you have something like, say, kroeger 05_55 which is really only supposed to be viewed at size 6, when you get to a dialog that forces size 8 or whatnot it blows it up. Also, this screwed with windows installer for some reason. It's still useable when you install stuff but the graphics look all funny. Another thing, certain other dialogs will have stuff left out of them, like preferences in Firefox, you might be stuck without certain sections and not able to resize to see them. Be warned!
Yes, true, and you can have problems with colour selection dialogs too, i set my font to arial and couldn't type more than 2 numbers in some colour boxes anymore, not so handy ay ;)
Okay, I tried it out, but it doesn't touch the system font nor its size. You know, for example the font that appears in the properties window of any file. Or am I missing an option?
