p.s. Im using it right now, and its actually fast. I got a HP Dv9000 with Dual Core 2 (1.8ghz) and 2GB memory, and its faster than Firefox, or IE. One plus, is that it uses less memory, while still being fast. Firefox at time uses about 100+ mb at times, and Safari is stable at around 30mb. This may be a plus side for those with not enough memory.
I use a Mac and don't even use Safari. I need Firefox's add-ons and even though it is slow, I don't find Safari much better (Camino is the winner there).
I also tried it and I think I´ll wait till october when the stable version is coming out. Safari even dont display on the google startsite the link "more"... - Looks like it has problems to display strong or bold declared text...
I don't know what you guys are talking about saying that most sites are adapted for Explorer/not adapted for Safari. I run it exclusively and have *never* found a site that doesn't work with it.
u al are one and the same its actually gets buged when it does not show the respective fonts in it when u install say about 3000 fonts and its true it realy does not show any fonts everything is really messy try doing that u wil get an idea for me its still the opera at the top position and it will be ohhhhhh one more thing try opening too many tabs in the safari it will sho a debug and say it has some problem in it and wont work where as opera is seriously can open 35 to 40 tabs to work in all without damaging the inner content like say wallpapers it shows everything while safari dies off i.e. it automatically shuts down by saing debug error in windows so in my case opera>>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>100 pts safari>>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>>>>>sucks all the way to glory hahahahahhahahahahahhah its true cia
Safari on PC is a joke. That's never going to take off. Firefox may load pages 0.3 seconds slower (like I give a crap) but it offers SOOO much more protection, support, mods and doesn't use Apple font smoothing, which looks terrible on Windows.
great atlast windows users got the ultimate browser they wanted, to take on their browsing sessions to another dimension. But when I tried safari it didnt load pages cashed more than 200kb may be because still it's in it's Beta version. Any how it's it's a good innovation from Apple.
